Hello Stranger (2010) >> Fashion and Locations

So many movies sometimes took advantage of overseas locations but did not explore it so well. But traveling movies are a big bonus if the story is great as well. Hello Stranger is no exception. It tells two people for the first time traveling in South Korea during Songkran Festival. They both have adorable characters, great street style for wardrobe with beautiful scenes behind. I like learning new cultures, so those traditional food in the street and other details are interesting to me. In the mean time, this is some of the stills with some of the places in South Korea.

Annie Hall (1977) : Fashion

Although the movie fail to stand out for me, but Diane Keaton as Annie Hall do have a great sense of fashion in this movie. Tomboyish but fits her character. A vest, brown trousers, a tie and laid back attitude :) I do think physically she look like a classic version of Katie Holmes. Wished I had a better full picture of what she's wearing. Here's what I found.

Bright Star (2009) : treat for the eye

Bright Star is a movie based on the three-year romance between 19th century poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne, which was cut short by Keats' untimely death at age 25. I was admiring Abbie Cornish's acting, and it has something that dragged me to watch it late night where I should be sleeping. But, it's not the best drama romantic movie I've seen before. I wish John Keats can portray more about the man who fights hard for a better life.

But I give a credit for the beautiful shots and Fanny's wardrobe. It was set in 1880's but her style has its own uniqueness. The movie's costume design was nominated for Oscar.
