Movie Report : March 2011

Already? It feels like time move fast now. Is it because of the cold weather or it looks like I'm feeling lazy? There's not much movies to look forward. Not in the theaters. Those who are in the same country with me knows what I am saying. Okay. This is the sum up of movies I have watched this month. There's a definite winner for this month, and that is the movie not from the year 2000. Carpe Diem, dear readers :)

127 Hours (2010)
Beautiful story, beautiful editing. Just excellent.

Morning Glory (2010)
Rachel McAdams being executive producer in a network. Light and entertaining.

Punch Drunk Love (2002)
I have never saw a love story like in this movie. It's different, odd but sweet. I now know why I never see this movie in the theaters here, but the movie has its way to describe love story in a different angle. Adam Sandler being a serious and stiff man is just different from his roles I've seen yet.

Dead Poets Society (1989)
As you've seen in my review, I have fallen in love with this movie.
One of the movies that has 'magic' in it, makes you review your meaning of life again.

Secretariat (2010)
A housewife become an owner of a race-horse, true story.
I must admit I thought the movie is predictable, but that's just me. What about you?

Another Year (2010)
I watch this movie not in the greatest mood, so I don't know if this is actually my true opinion about this movie. Someone said the movie is about the importance of having a family. I saw this movie and I remembered my friend once tweeted; Some people is perfectly happy with being miserable. That's what I thought of Mary. Some people have a hard time to pull themselves together.  They just need a big support from other people, the most likely is a family.
